FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: device for reduction of shot sound contains a casing in the form of a hollow cylinder with a separator installed in it, a head and a cover with threads for their mutual connection and attachment to the barrel. Separator is rigidly connected to the head, in the rear part of the casing there is an internal collar, by which the casing rests on the head flange and is tightly drawn to it by means of a screwed cover. On the cover there is a plate spring with projections, which, when screwed on the cover, presses the spring to the end of the casing, on which there is a radial notch in the zone of contact with the spring projections.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of shot sound killing.
