FIELD: pulse equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pulse engineering and can be used in precision pulse generators. Method for phase synchronization of clock pulses with an external pulse further includes memorizing the current position of the edge of the clock pulse propagating in the first multi-tap delay line in triggers of the first group at the moment of arrival of the external synchronization pulse. Active trigger, which has stored the position of the clock pulse edge, switches the clock pulse from one of the terminals of the first multi-tap delay line to the input of the second multi-tap delay line. Position of the edge of the clock pulse propagating along it is stored in the triggers of the second group at the moment of arrival of the delayed external synchronization pulse, and the active trigger of this group determines from which terminal of the second multi-tap delay line the synchronized clock sequence will be transmitted to the output.
EFFECT: providing high accuracy of synchronization at low hardware costs.
