FIELD: pulse equipment.
SUBSTANCE: result is achieved memorizing the current position of the front of the clock pulse propagating in the multi-tap delay line in one of the triggers connected by synchronization inputs to the terminals of the multi-tap delay line when an external trigger pulse arrives. At that, output signals of triggers, having changed their state on clock pulse front from corresponding output of multi-tap delay line, subsequent change in the state of triggers is blocked and clock pulses are switched from several subsequent outputs of the multi-tap delay line to the output of the switch, wherein the position of clock pulse fronts is determined by the first trigger in the chain of triggers that have changed their state.
EFFECT: shorter synchronization time and possibility of increasing synchronization accuracy by increasing the sampling frequency of the clock pulse period.
