SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the thermal methods for waste disposal, in particular to the thermal processing of municipal solid waste (MSW) and industrial solid waste (ISW), in particular to a method for simultaneous processing of household, industrial and other waste of various origins and material composition in a single multi-zone technological unit with a single heat transfer agent and separate output of target processing products from each zone. A furnace for the selective processing of solid household and industrial waste contains a liquid slag bath, divided by a partition, one end of which is immersed in the metal phase, into two zones, while in the first zone (the oxidizing zone) a gas-lift chamber, a melting chamber and a settling chamber containing a submersible gas-lift chamber are sequentially located and separated from each other by partitions immersed in the molten slag, and in the second zone (the recovery zone) a gas-lift chamber, a melting chamber, a settling chamber containing a submersible gas-lift chamber are sequentially located and separated from each other by partitions immersed in the molten slag. In this case, the gas-lift chamber of the first zone is configured to circulate the molten slag between the melting and gas-lift chambers, and the gas-lift chamber of the second zone is configured to circulate between the melting and gas-lift chambers and process the combined molten slag coming from the first zone with reducing reagents.

EFFECT: arsenal of technical means is being expanded.
