FIELD: waste processing and disposal.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermal methods of waste decontamination, to ensure their recycling and production of gaseous, liquid and solid products suitable for implementation. Method comprises treatment of wastes in specially enclosed chambers of gas-lift furnace with two zones, at that temperature of the process is controlled, and melting is performed in slag melt by gas-lift technology in circulating melt of slag. At that, before melting, wastes are ground to particle size of less than 100 mm, dried using circulating heat carrier to residual moisture content of 5–10 % with simultaneous condensation of moisture and heat recovery, and the solid phase with high caloric content is subjected to low-temperature pyrolysis at temperature of 500–650 °C. Pyrolysis products, such as pyrolysis and reducing gases, are fed into a smelting furnace.
EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of solid municipal and industrial wastes processing by including waste preparation operations for melting.
