FIELD: processing and recycling of wastes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermal methods of decontaminating wastes, in particular to the field of thermal processing of solid domestic wastes (SDW) and solid industrial wastes (SIW). Method of processing solid domestic and industrial wastes containing non-ferrous and precious metals includes thermal treatment of solid domestic wastes in molten slag in a furnace, divided by partition into two zones—oxidation and reduction. In each zone there are melting, gas-lift and settling chambers separated by partitions. In the melting and gas-lift chambers of the first zone, oxidative treatment of wastes is performed by circulating melt of the main slag using gas-lift technology with further separation of heavy metal phase. After oxidative treatment, non-ferrous metals are extracted from the melt of the main slag of the settling chamber of the first zone by means of a submersible gas-lift chamber with formation of a single melt of slag and separate output of a mixture of non-ferrous metals from the main metal phase. Combining a single molten slag of the first zone with molten slag of the second zone with subsequent treatment with reducing reagents of circulating combined slag in melting and gas-lift chambers of the second zone using gas-lift technology with subsequent extraction of precious metals from reduced melt of slag of settling chamber of the second zone using gas-lift technology and separation of melt of single slag of heavy metal phase.
