FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to stainless shot blasting, including grains for shot blasting, having austenitic chrome-manganese steel, in the range of ≥90 to ≤100 wt.% in terms of total weight of stainless shot for blasting. Said steel contains, wt.%: from >0 to ≤0.8 of carbon, from ≥0 to ≤1.2 of nitrogen, from ≥10 to ≤30 of chromium, from ≥6 to ≤30 of manganese, from ≥0 to ≤3 of molybdenum, from ≥0 to ≤3 silicon, from ≥0 to ≤2 copper, from ≥0 to ≤1 of cobalt, from ≥0 to ≤1 of nickel, from ≥0 to ≤1 of tungsten, from ≥0 to ≤1 of niobium, from ≥0 to ≤1 of vanadium, from ≥0 to ≤1 of aluminium, from ≥ 0 to ≤1 titanium and the rest is iron.
EFFECT: shot has required hardness and wear resistance.
