SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an electronic steam generation system, a data transmission system for an electronic steam generation system, and a method for communication from an electronic steam generation system using optical communication. The electronic steam generation system comprises a light source configured to emit light and a controller comprising a data processor configured to generate transmission data. The controller is configured to control the light source to emit an optical signal for data transmission. The transmission data contains data related to at least one of: the use of an electronic steam generation system; unique identifier of the electronic system for obtaining steam and error codes; wherein the error codes include instructions for changing the operation of the electronic steam production system to overcome an error that has been identified in the electronic steam production system.
EFFECT: efficient and reliable communication of the data on electronic steam system usage, electronic steam system unique identifiers, and error codes is provided, whereby the error codes include commands to modify the operation of the electronic steam system to overcome the identified error.
