The system comprises a biometric sensor configured to measure a biometric parameter of a user of the electronic aerosol delivery device and interact with a computing device to exchange sensor data that indicates the measured value of the biometric parameter. The computing device is configured to control the electronic aerosol delivery device aspect of its operation in accordance with sensor data received from the biometric sensor wherein the computing device is configured to control the electronic aerosol delivery device aspect of its operation in accordance with sensor data by updating the user interface, providing the user of the electronic aerosol delivery device with information regarding the operation of the electronic aerosol delivery device to contain an indication obtained from the sensor data.
