FIELD: plant growing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for growing plants and carrying out research and selection works with them in conditions of artificial lighting in climatic installations. For this, plants are grown in a glazed working chamber of a vertical type of an artificial climate cabinet with lines of red and blue light-emitting diodes arranged alternately along the entire height of the side and rear walls and the width of the upper wall parallel to the horizontal plane, on the outside of the working chamber. Multi-channel programmable control device is used, by means of which enabling switching on of specified combinations of lines of light-emitting diodes at specified astronomical time during a daily cycle.
EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to carry out research and selection works when growing plants in climatic installations with a light mode which is closer to the natural one.
