SUBSTANCE: method includes selection of a predecessor and terms of its harvesting, stubble ploughing, ploughing, relief levelling, early spring harrowing, pre-sowing cultivation, sowing with post-sowing packing of rows, inter-row treatment, the first of which is carried out in phase of 2–3 stable leaves, watering and harvesting. Leguminous crop is a precursor of Salvia hispanica in crop rotation. After harvesting the precursor and stubble ploughing, autumn ploughing is carried out to embed leguminous crop residues into the upper soil layer and accelerate their mineralization. After harrowing, prior to sowing, cultivation is carried out at depth of 3–5 cm simultaneously with relief levelling. Sowing is carried out in a wide row at depth of 2–3 cm by a sowing machine for small-seeded, grass or vegetable crops with subsequent packing of rows on the entire sown area. After sowing, irrigation is carried out with sprinkling machines of drum type at rate of 200–250 m3/ha. Harvesting is carried out by single-phase direct combining with machines for harvesting small-seeded crops.

EFFECT: method expands the range of cultivated crops, has high efficiency, absence of negative effect of fertilizers, high yield when growing in organic farming system, high quality of products, low power consumption.
