FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to cultivation of rice and tilled crops on rice meliorative systems. Method comprises autumn soil treatment consisting of single-, double-shelling stubble after previous crop and autumn plowing, pre-sowing soil treatment consisting of covering harrowing, cultivation to depth of 5–6 cm and rolling with simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers. Fallow crop – brown mustard – is sown with a seeding rate of 2.5 mln units/ha on residual moisture reserves after rice for soil structure improvement, its enrichment with organic matter and reduction of rice fields contamination. Mustard oil seeds are cleaned, favorable conditions for the horizontal surface of the checks are made, the water inlet and outlet irrigation network is repaired, the check rollers, roads are repaired and rice is sown.

EFFECT: method ensures production of mustard oil seeds during cultivation in rice crop rotation due to residual soil moisture content after rice, quality improvement of weed control and improvement of ecological situation on rice irrigation system.
