FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stabilizing modifying additive for a macadam-mastic asphalt mixture. Stabilizing modifying additive for macadam-mastic asphalt mixture consists of polyethylene wax and thermoplastic aliphatic polymer resin, wherein polyethylene wax has a dropping point of 120–140 °C, dynamic viscosity of 300–800 mPa⋅s at 140 °C and penetration of 1–5 1/10 mm, and the aliphatic polymer resin has a softening point of 75–145 °C, mass concentration of polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) is not more than 15.0 mg/kg, with the following ratio of said components, wt %: polyethylene wax 30–70, aliphatic polymer resin 30–70.

EFFECT: obtaining an easy-to-manufacture additive for bitumen binder, which provides high resistance of bitumen binder in macadam-mastic asphalt mixture to delamination, increased adhesion properties of bitumen, wider temperature range of operation of bitumen binder with a small amount of additive introduced into the composition of macadam-mastic asphalt mixture.
