SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for cleaning air from dust in ventilation and aspiration systems, and can also be used for cleaning industrial emissions of chemical enterprises and other industries. Wet dust trap comprises a cylindrical housing with a tangential inlet branch pipe fixed on its lower part, an outlet branch pipe with a drop catcher, coaxially arranged inside the housing pipeline for supply of cleaning liquid for spraying with tiers arranged sprayers in the form of fixed bushings coaxially fixed on the pipeline, which are equipped with ring-shaped outlet holes. Driving brush sprayers are installed on the pipeline between the fixed bushings. On the inner surface of the cylindrical housing, opposite the fixed bushings, there are inclined baffle plates with holes.

EFFECT: proposed design of wet dust collector provides high degree of gas purification.
