FIELD: heat-mass-transfer equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a housing with gas inlet and outlet pipe connections, arrangement for delivery of sprinkling liquid, and contact device, having perforated inclined surfaces. Arrangement for delivery of sprinkling liquid is made as a vertical tube located in the central part of the housing and furnished with holes positioned in tiers, and positioned on the outside surface of the above tube are spring-loaded bushes with holes located against the tube holes; attached to each bush under the hole is a shell in the form of truncated cone for vertical movement; the larger base of the cone forms a clearance with the housing, and attached to the housing under the above shell with the larger base is a shell in the form of inverted truncated cone, whose smaller base forms a clearance with the tube for delivery of sprinkling liquid. From the outside each bush is furnished with an annular enclosure forming with the shell upper surface a slotted hole for liquid delivery. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
