FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of blocking switching in electrical installations of 6–750 kV is proposed to prevent erroneous actions of personnel when using portable protective earthing (PPE), in which the PPE are equipped with RFID tags, wherein said PPE are arranged in a locked storage and accounting cabinet of PPE, equipped with RFID reader and connected to programmable logic controller and AWS of operational personnel. PPE installation location is selected, after selection of PPE installation location possibility of installation of PPE in the specified location is performed, and in case of installation permission further switching on section of electric circuit is blocked. Thereafter, it becomes possible to withdraw the PPE from the storage and metering cabinet and to install it in the selected location, and accounting for the PPE, the RFID tag installed on the PPE structure is read, after which the blocking of switching on the section of the electric circuit where the PPE was installed is reset.
EFFECT: higher reliability of electrical installations.
