FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular to frame and box-type building structures with thermal break, and can be used in the manufacture of window frames, door frames and canvases, other structures with a thermal break in residential, office and industrial buildings and structures, as well as in the manufacture of heat-insulating structures of industrial furnaces and refrigerating chambers. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the construction profile with thermal break consists of external and internal profiles, rigidly connected to each other by at least one heat-insulating bridge made of composite material by pultrusion method, wherein outer and inner profiles are made of metal and contain slotted grooves for fixing opposite ends of heat-insulating bridge, wherein the slotted grooves are made by bending one of the end parts of the outer and inner profiles, and the opposite ends of the heat-insulating bridge are fixed in said grooves by means of their walls bulging, wherein the opposite end parts of the outer and inner profiles are made with possibility of forming the cross-section of the construction profile with thermal break, as well as technical result is achieved by method of making such a profile.
