FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to railway car building industry. Window or door frames for railway cars are made from synthetic materials in combination with metal components. According to method, extruded is tubular aluminium profile articles with two oppositely located tear-off partitions. Hollows of profile article are filled with heat-insulating material which in result of handing converts into flexible thermally-insulated bridge. Profile article is bent into geometrically enclosed frame, and partitions are torn off from it. Before filling tubular profile article with heat-insulating material, inserted into this article is elastically deformable reinforcing member made of strengthened material. Bending of tubular profile article into frame is carried out after reinforcement of bridge. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 8 dwg
