SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a microbial preparation for biological protection of plants from insect pests of orders of Lepidoptera and Diptera, comprising mixing a suspension of a culture of microorganisms of spore-forming bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis in the form of a concentrate of a bacterial suspension with titre of 1×109 CFU/ml with a carrier, and a method for biological protection of plants from insect pests of orders of Lepidoptera and Diptera, including cultivation of a microbial preparation obtained by the disclosed method, with subsequent spraying of plants in dosage 200–3,000 l per 1 ha in 7–14 days against each generation of pest. Carrier used is natural mineral sorbent based on silicon-containing rocks in form of diatomite, and mixing is carried out in an intensive turbofan mixer with simultaneous finely dispersed spraying of the concentrate of the bacterial suspension on the carrier through a nozzle at pressure of 2 atm.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a wider range of means of biological protection of plants from pests with high efficiency.
