SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas field, namely to devices for protection of production equipment against high pressures, aggressive liquids, penetration of well treatment fluids, as well as fluids during well development inside slide valves of wellhead equipment. X-mas tree protector comprises a hollow rod, upper and lower plates located one above the other, hydraulic cylinders housings connected to the upper protector plate, rods of hydraulic cylinders are connected to lower plate, in which lower housing of protector with gland packing of rod is installed, bottom of rod is equipped with sealing nozzle with cups. Protector further comprises a second protector housing, upper, fixed on the upper plate, and fixed on the protector upper plate, between the hydraulic cylinders housings, vertically oriented, connected in series mechanical gate valve and hydraulic gate valve with internal protective removable bushings, a transition coil and an adjustable head, with removable protective sleeves and flange connections. Rod is screwed into the upper housing of the protector and passes through the gland seal of the lower housing of the protector. At that, the lower housing of the protector contains the first and the second plug valves. Device is also equipped with an equalizing unit, one end is fixed on the adjustable head, and the other end is between the first and the second plug valves.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the device, its versatility for various standard sizes of X-mas trees and tubing used.
