FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining the centre of rolling of a ship. For this, three three-axis micromechanical accelerometers are installed on each of axes of 0XYZ coordinate system associated with the vessel, according to which the differences of the signals components of the same name are generated in the computing device, combinations of angular velocities and angular accelerations of the ship are calculated, which are used to determine coordinates of the centre of rolling of the ship in a certain manner.
EFFECT: providing higher accuracy of determining coordinates of current position of ship rolling centre, as well as higher reliability of determining this rolling centre.
