FIELD: ships and other floating facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power systems intended for submarines and deep-sea vehicles. Submarine power system operation in submarine surface position is provided by atmospheric air supply for fuel combustion in combustion chamber 2 via atmospheric air supply line 19, discharge of exhaust gases from combustion chamber 2 via main line for discharge of exhaust gases 17 behind hull of submarine 1 and transfer of thermal energy of steam plant 5 from combustion chamber 2 through intermediate circuit 3. Operation of the power system in a submerged position of the submarine is ensured as follows. Shutoff and control valves 20 and 18 are pre-closed, and shutoff and control valves 23 and 24 of bypass line of waste gases 22 and shutoff control valve 15 of oxidizer supply line 12 are opened. Fuel, for example, natural gas or diesel fuel, is fed from fuel tank 11 via fuel feed line 14 into combustion chamber 2. Simultaneously from tank with oxidant 10 through oxidant supply line 12, through open shutoff and control valve 15, oxygen is supplied to mixing chamber 13 to form artificial gas mixture with waste gases supplied from chemical absorber unit 29 via bypass line 22. This mixture is used for fuel combustion in combustion chamber 2.
EFFECT: creation of a single power system intended for operation of a submarine in surface and underwater positions, possibility of operation of the power system on an artificial gas mixture of oxygen and waste gas, elimination of formation of heat and bubble traces during movement of submarine under water, as well as increase of energy efficiency of steam plant.
