FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making a catalyst. Proposed invention relates to moulded sintered body containing mayenite-type compound, sintered material of inorganic binder and transition metal. Content of sintered material of inorganic binder is 3–30 wt.pts. with respect to 100 wt.pts. moulded sintered body. At distribution of pores of the moulded sintered body by dimensions, measured by nitrogen adsorption, there is at least one peak in each of the ranges of pore diameters of 2.5–20 nm and 20–350 nm. Also disclosed is a method of making a moulded sintered body.
EFFECT: invention increases crushing strength and catalytic activity of the moulded sintered body.
