FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for painting vehicle bodies. Painting unit comprises at least one painting chamber, a magazine containing paint cartridges, and a device for automatic transportation of cartridges from the magazine to feeding stations. Painting chamber contains a painting device intended for application of paint on objects placed in the chamber. Feeding stations are made with provision of ink supply from cartridges to painting device. Automatic transfer device is pneumatic and comprises launching station for sending cartridges from magazine, receiving station for receiving cartridges and channels for transportation of cartridges by air flow. Receiving station has an outlet for quick withdrawal of the empty cartridge from the installation. Also disclosed is a method of supplying paint to painting devices.
EFFECT: invention provides fast and efficient control of paints and internal cleaning of the installation.
