FIELD: coating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for application of coating and can be used for electrostatic application of coating on automobile body housing domestic electric appliances, etc. Method of electrostatic coating is intended for application of coating on target object. On coating application surface target object has stepped section extending in predetermined direction. Method includes first step of providing application of coating on entire surface of target object. After application of coating on entire surface second stage of providing additional application of coating along stepped section extending in a predetermined direction is conducted. Paint mist in greater degree sticks to relative buried side of stepped section. In additional application of coating gun with rotating cone is used for application of coating by means of which painting mist is supplied with twisting around centre of cone. Gun for application of coating is moved in one direction along stepped section extending in predetermined direction. Swirling of painting mist is reduced at one side of line of centre of cone gun movement due to air resistance. Air resistance is caused by movement of gun. Gun is moved only in one direction along stepped section on one side facing to its relative buried side. Device for application of coating contains at least one machine for electrostatic coating, having movable gun for application of coating. In addition, device also comprises control device, which actuates machine for electrostatic application to ensure application of coating by movement of gun. Control device actuates machine for electrostatic application or other machine to provide additional application of coating. In additional application gun with rotating cone is used. Gun moves in one direction along stepped section.

EFFECT: technical result is increased linearity painting fog, reduced expenditures for equipment and reducing the time cycle of applying coating.
