Abstract RU 2823762 C1

FIELD: sport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to teaching the technique of playing tennis, in particular, for children of 6–10 years old and beginning to study adults. Disclosed is a simulator for training in the game of tennis, which includes a cantilever rod, to the end of which a flexible cable with a ball at the end is attached, wherein, according to the invention, the cantilever rod, on the side opposite to the attachment of the flexible cable, is connected to a base rod of the supporting structure equipped at least at the ends, made with possibility of detachable engagement with enclosure, ball is made of elastic material and has diameter in range of 10–30 cm with weight of 60–150 grams, and the flexible cable is connected to the cantilever rod by means of a wheel installed on the cantilever rod with possibility of rotation around it. Invention makes it possible to: – significantly reduce time of training to hit the ball, as well as to all basic techniques as whole in 1.5–2 times; – to increase the force of blows due to the ball meeting in front of the body, mastering the perfect rhythm of movements, greater amplitude of the swing and explosive extension of the hand with the racket into the ball; – to work out the technique of all basic techniques, promptly making adjustments in the movement details during the training; develop dexterity, quickly maneuvering with feet and reflecting a ball flying up along different trajectories; – develop speed and pace of the game by adjusting the length of the flexible ball thread and the frequency of strikes; – to develop coordination of movements, using blows over the head, different types of blows at the level of belt in combination with variety of movements and approaches to the ball; – to develop speed endurance and functional training of students by increasing the pace of the game and the duration of the series of strikes, taking into account their individual capabilities; at the same time loads can reach their maximum values (by pulse meter 150–160 beats per minute).

EFFECT: taking into account mobility, simplicity and high efficiency of the proposed device for training to play tennis (simulator), training of tennis can become available and widespread both in children's schools and throughout the country—in training groups and in amateur sections, on an individual basis at the place of residence and at dachas, which will significantly increase the mass character of tennis as a sport, a means of promoting health and entertainment—in full compliance with the modern needs of our community and the social policy of the state; simulator can be used throughout, including on all tennis courses, because 95% of them are surrounded by either a soft net on closed courses, or a rigid net on the street in the open air.
