FIELD: ships and other floating facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for exploration and development of the oceans and water bodies, namely to remote-controlled underwater unmanned vehicles. Underwater vehicle consists of a body and a propulsion unit. Group of twelve reversible axial water-jet propellers is used as a propulsion unit, and the body of the apparatus is made in the form of a parallelepiped-shaped frame of twelve pipes, in each of which there is a reversible axial water-jet propeller, and which have open ends for free passage of water through the propellers. Pipes are connected by means of non-welded couplings at distance of 15–20% of length of pipes from open ends, and on one of upper horizontal pipes there is a connector made with possibility of connection of control and communication cables to it.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of movement and manoeuvring of the device in three-dimensional space with the possibility of stabilization at a point in the water space, stable stay on the surface, as well as increasing the operational reliability of the device.
