SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater shipbuilding, namely to autonomous uninhabited underwater vehicles. The autonomous unmanned underwater vehicle contains the body of the vehicle and the propulsion unit, which includes a group of four aft propulsion reversible propellers located at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. Cruising thrusters are located in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the underwater vehicle in an X-like manner so that the axes of the upper right and left lower thrusters are in a plane located at an angle of 45 ° to the main plane of the vehicle, and the axes of the lower right and left upper thrusters are in the plane located at an angle of -45 ° to the main plane of the apparatus.
EFFECT: improved maneuvering characteristics of the underwater vehicle.
