SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to heat engineering and can be used in devices for liquid heating and steam generation. Device for heating a liquid and producing steam comprises a housing consisting of a detachable cover and a base, forming a sealed cavity for the medium to be heated, shaft with seal assembly and attachment coupling for torque transfer from external drive, which serves to rotate removable solid disk or removable disk with through holes, which is fixed to seal assembly. To the base, cover and on both sides to the solid disc or disc with holes through replaceable gaskets, replaceable pads with through slots are fixed. Disc on both sides of the base has ledges and is installed so that the pads attached to the housing are placed parallel to the pads fixed on both sides to the disc with the possibility of alternate opening and closing of the slots of the pads along their entire length.

EFFECT: improved repairability of the device, reduced vibration, as well as increased specific capacity of dry saturated steam with increased efficiency of the device.
