FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid injection equipment and can be used in designing fuel injection equipment for internal combustion engines. Proposed atomizer comprises housing 1 with sprayer 3 installed in it and has at least one nozzle channel 5. Sprayer 3 is made in the form of polyhedron installed in polyhedral hole of housing 1 with possibility of contact of its faces 4 with all faces 2 of polyhedron of hole. Nozzle channel 5 is limited by intersecting surfaces of adjacent faces 2 at rib 6 of polyhedron of hole of housing 1 and surface formed by truncation of rib 7 of sprayer 3, which is located between said intersecting faces 2 of polyhedron of hole.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of atomizing liquids, in particular fuel, by making it possible to minimize the cross-sectional area of the nozzle channel of the atomizer.
