FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid injection equipment and can be used in development of fuel injection equipment for internal combustion engines. Proposed injector comprises housing 1 with sprayer 2 installed in its hole, as well as at least one nozzle channel 5. Sprayer 2 is installed in hole of housing 1 with possibility of contact by its outer surface 3 with mating inner surface 4 of hole of housing 1. Said surfaces 3 and 4 of the housing and sprayer holes are made conical, and nozzle channel 5 is made in the form of a groove on at least one of the said contact surfaces. Injector is equipped with a means of axial tension in the conjugation of the contacting conical surfaces of the housing and the sprayer with the possibility of preventing the liquid flow between the conjugated conical surfaces at least on part of the engine operation modes.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of liquid spraying, in particular fuel, by providing the ability to minimize the cross-sectional area of the sprayer nozzle channel.
