FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid injection equipment and can be used in development of fuel injection equipment for internal combustion engines. Method of forming nozzle channel of sprayer (3) installed in hole of injector housing (1) consists in the fact that longitudinal slit cuts (4) are made in body of sprayer (3), open towards liquid spraying. Sprayer (3) is squeezed from outside in housing (1) with possibility of selecting a gap in cuts (4) and touching opposite surfaces of cuts (4) of sprayer (3). Nozzle hole is formed by making at least one groove (7) on one of surfaces of sprayer (3) cut (4) which are in contact with each other. Injector is also disclosed.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of liquid spraying by providing the ability to minimize the cross-sectional area of the nozzle channel of the sprayer.
