FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for cleaning exhaust gases of internal combustion engines of test benches for fuels and oils. Disclosed is an automated system for cleaning exhaust gases of engine 3 comprising exhaust pipeline 8, in which there is sealed container 15 with a cone-shaped lower part, soot separator 9 and receiver 7. In the lower part of receiver 7 there is a branch pipe for water discharge, and in the upper part there is a channel for outlet of cleaned exhaust gases. In the side walls of sealed soot separator 9 there are sprayers 10 of irrigation water with shutoff valve 11. In the upper part of container 15 there are diametrically opposite inlets 17 arranged on the same level in the form of four-channel combs 18, to the outlets of each of which individual cyclone 19 with plugged upper end 20 is connected. Inside container 15 there is fine mesh 21. In the cone-shaped part of container 15 there is soot particles level sensor 23 connected to the input of control unit 12, and in channel 16 of the soot particles discharge there is shutter 24 controlled by control unit 12.

EFFECT: reduced emissions of soot and harmful substances into the environment at various load-speed modes of operation of the motor test bench.
