FIELD: engines; testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in testing internal combustion engines (ICE) on brake test benches. ICE exhaust gas cleaning automated system as part of the brake test bench contains exhaust pipeline (1) for the exhaust gases removal from the internal combustion engine, connected to receiver (2), in front of which electromagnetic nozzle (3) is installed, which is hydraulically communicated with electric pump (4) for supply of irrigation solution from tank (5) and with mechanical shut-off valve (6), and electrically connected to DC power supply (7) through electronic control unit (8) equipped with electric signal duration and pause regulators (9) and (10), to inputs of which ICE load and speed operating modes sensors (11) and (12) are connected and valve timing sensor (14) for synchronizing the moment of injection by nozzle (3) of spraying solution into outlet pipeline (1) of ICE with exhaust stroke from ICE. Temperature sensor (13) is installed in electric circuit between power supply (7) and electronic control unit (8), according to electric signal of which electronic unit (8) is automatically connected to power supply (7).
EFFECT: automatic connection of the electronic control unit to the power supply at the moment of complete engine warm-up and increasing the efficiency of the spray solution on the exhaust gases to reduce harmful emissions of exhaust gases into the atmosphere by injecting the solution into the exhaust pipeline in the exhaust stroke from the ICE.
