FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to evaluation of quality of complex technical systems and in particular means of protection against computer attacks. Technical problem is solved by conducting test tests, which enable to identify potentially possible operating conditions of the firewall, at which the technical characteristics specified by the manufacturer are not met, and to identify the negative effect of the firewall on the quality of communication services.
EFFECT: high reliability of results of evaluating the quality of a firewall by taking into account dynamically changing parameters describing information flow between nodes of a communication network during test tests, and the effect of the firewall on the quality of providing communication services.
