FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in plant growing on acid grey forest soils of regions of forest-steppe zone of Russian Federation. Method for increasing crop capacity of oil-bearing radish on acid grey forest soils envisages introduction into acid grey forest soil a strictly metered amount of boiling lye, which is formed during production of grass pulp, calculated by the equation: Y=2.2876⋅x2-30.621⋅x+101.37, where Y is the optimal dose of boiling lye, l/m2; x – initial value of salt extract of grey forest soil in range from 4.0 to 6.0.
EFFECT: increased yield of oilseeds of oil-bearing radish to 18–24%.
