SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the cultivation of spring rapeseed. A method for reducing the incidence of downy mildew in spring rapeseed plants on oil-contaminated grey forest soils involves elimination of excess acidity of oil-contaminated soil by liming. A calculated dose of lime is introduced according to the hydrolytic acidity and the oil-contaminated layer is intensively loosened for two years at different depths every two weeks. The scheme of loosening the soil during the growing season from May to September: 1st treatment - 5 cm, 2nd treatment - 10 cm, 3rd treatment - 15 cm, 4th treatment - 20 cm, 5th treatment - 25 cm, 6th treatment - 20 cm, 7th treatment - 15 cm, 8th treatment - 10 cm, 9th treatment - 5 cm.

EFFECT: decrease in distribution by 6.6% and the development of more than 2 times downy mildew, as well as an increase in the yield of spring rapeseed oilseeds by 23% compared to the increase in yield on contaminated soil.
