SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a terminal and a method for radio communication in next-generation mobile communication systems. Terminal includes: a receiving section configured to receive information relating to a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state; a control section configured when a reference signal (RS) of a loss mark in a transmission path for an uplink is not configured, and one or more control resource sets (CORESET) are configured, calculating the uplink transmission path loss estimate based on the reference signal in the TCI state of the control resource set (CORESET) with the lowest identifier (ID), wherein the reference signal is configured by a quasi-colocation type (QCL) indicating a spatial reception parameter as a QCL parameter, and is a periodic reference signal. When the number of reference signals used to estimate the loss in the transmission path is configured to exceed a predetermined number, control section is configured to refuse to estimate losses in the transmission path for reference signals exceeding the specified number.
EFFECT: possibility of determining a reference signal based at least on information on quasi-colocation QCL and calculating loss in a transmission path.
