SUBSTANCE: invention relates to material science of bast-fibre stem material. Method for assessing the detachment of fibre from wood of linseed stems includes preparation of a sample, its mechanical treatment, calculation of fibre from wood separation estimation, besides, before mechanical treatment the sample is placed evenly along the whole length of the working chamber having the shape of a toroid with a rectangular cross-section, the distance from the centre of which to the centre of the toroid is not less than 0.15 m, mechanical processing is carried out for a constant time, not more than 5 seconds by means of cyclic reciprocating movements in different directions of sample elements in the working chamber by means of their interaction with fixed and movable, moving relative to fixed ones with a linear speed of not less than 7 m/s, with pegs with a shape, which provides for slippage of the formed fire-fibre mixture from their surface; simultaneous with treatment, partial separation of the formed fire-fibre mixture is carried out with withdrawal from the treatment zone, which is part of the stems of the sample, the separability estimate is calculated in the form of the ratio of the mass released during the separation of the fire to the initial mass of the stem sample.

EFFECT: simplified analysis and increased accuracy of evaluation of fibre from wood of linen stalks.
