FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: in drying method of linen stock, which involves preparation of layer of stems of linen stock, its transportation with simultaneous heated air blowing in the form of the flow restricted as to width; at that, at final drying stages the top and bottom sections of stems in moving layer are subject to short-time surface wetting.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method will require lower costs for its implementation.
