FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of corrosion inhibitor for protection of carbon and carbon-free structural steels from aggressive action of mineralized aqueous media containing dissolved carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide in significant amounts. Method involves reaction of fatty carboxylic acids C5-C20 and a nitrogen-containing compound in a stream of nitrogen while heating and stirring for 10–12 hours with subsequent removal of reaction water, cooling of obtained reaction mass, addition of reagents and dissolution of reaction mass in solvent. Molar ratio of fatty carboxylic acids to nitrogen-containing compound is 2–4.5:1. Mixture is heated to temperature of 160–180 °C and held while stirring until release of reaction water stops, residual moisture is removed from the mixture and a demulsifier and an antifoaming agent are added, dissolved in an aliphatic alcohol and/or aromatic hydrocarbon and stirred for 1 hour.
EFFECT: obtaining corrosion inhibitor resistant to oxidative processes at high temperatures and aggressive media, providing protection against hydrogen sulphide and carbonic acid corrosion of at least 95% and protection against hydrogenation of more than 80%.
