FIELD: physics; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physical and chemical methods of purifying natural, waste water and process solutions from nonferrous metal ions using ion-exchange resins. Method of regenerating ion-exchange resins saturated with non-ferrous metals involves passing an eluent through a charge of ionite with subsequent separation of the eluate into portions. First portion is taken for processing, and the rest are used in turn at the next regeneration operation with additional introduction of a fresh portion of the eluent at its completion. Eluent used is a solution with content of regenerating reagent from 5 to 20% with specific flow rate from 0.5 to 2 sp.vol./h, where sp.vol. means specific volume, in amount of 2 to 5 sp.vol. Eluate is divided into portions from 2 to 5. Recycling is carried out without using additional reagents.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a composition-stable and limited volume eluate with a high content of non-ferrous metals, suitable for subsequent processing, with minimal consumption of the regenerating reagent and use of easy-to-use equipment.
