FIELD: industrial aerodynamics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for aerodynamic tests of aircraft power plants. Device comprises a bed with support elements, a horizontal dynamometric platform with front and rear cross beams and a fastening mechanism, automatic control system and force-measuring mechanism with calibration system and strain gauge of longitudinal movement. Elastic plates are E-shaped with central and side rods and rigid horizontal base. Calibration system is equipped with two calibration strain gauges with force-sensing frames and two pneumatic cylinders connected to the automatic control system. Working chambers of each pneumatic cylinder are connected via controlled valves to pressure source.
EFFECT: device provides higher accuracy of measuring full thrust taking into account force of aerodynamic drag by stabilizing simulated operating parameters of aircraft power plant in simulated flight conditions.
