SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for mixing concrete mixtures and can be used in concrete mixers of various designs. Concrete mixer consists of support frame, metal bowl, cover and geared motor, which is connected to rotary activator located in bowl. Metal bowl is made of armour steel having the following composition, wt.%: C – 0.29–0.38; Si – 0.15–0.37; Mn – 0.30–0.60; Cr – 1.20–2.00; Ni – 1.20–2.20; V – 0.06–0.20; Al – 0.01–0.05; N – 0.005–0.020; Cu – ≤0.50; Nb – ≤0.05; S – ≤0.012; P – ≤0.015; Fe is the rest.

EFFECT: higher wear resistance of concrete mixer bowl.
