SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of processing a return solvent used in the production of isoprene rubber from isoprene extracted from a C5 pyrolysis fraction, which consists in that isopentane is a solvent, isoprene-breakthrough and butyne-2, separated from the polymerisate during the production of isoprene rubber, are separated from toluene and heavy in a rectification column and fed to a column of azeotropic drying, through the bottom of which a dry hydrocarbon is removed, wherein the dried mixture is fed to a single-step extractive rectification, which is carried out in the presence of an extractant - dimethylformamide or acetonitrile, where isopentane-solvent is distilled at the top of the extraction fractionation column, and isoprene with butine-2 is collected at the top of the extraction fractionation column for recycling, wherein the isopentane solvent, which has undergone extractive rectification in the extraction fractionation column, is then fed for mixing with pyrolysis isoprene and into an azeotropic drying column carried out before polymerisation of the isoprene rubber production process.
EFFECT: exclusion of accumulation of harmful impurities of butines in solvent for its reuse.
