FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the complex processing of by-products of an isoprene separation process from fraction C5 pyrolysis containing piperylene and amylene fractions. Process includes separation and hydrogenation steps and is characterized in that a mixture of by-products of the isoprene separation process from fraction C5 pyrolysis is directed to separation into a fractionation column, where a fraction C5-hydrocarbons with a boiling point lower than that of cyclopentane, and from the cube a fraction of hydrocarbons C6 and higher with a boiling point higher than that of cyclopentane, fraction C5-hydrocarbons separated from the top of the fractionation column are sent to an aqueous extraction column from oxygen-containing compounds, the upper product of which is sent to a two-stage hydrogenation on a hydrogenation catalyst at a temperature of 80–130 °C, part of the hydrogenated fraction C5-hydrocarbons are mixed with the top product of the aqueous extraction column before being fed to the hydrogenation reactor in a weight ratio of 3–5:1, the remainder of the fraction C5-hydrocarbons are sent for separation into a distillation column to obtain from the top of the column a isopentane-pentane fraction and from a cube of a cyclopentane fraction column.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to maximize the production of isopentane-pentane and cyclopentane fractions.
