FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a fertilizer composition for fertilizing herbaceous and/or woody crops. Fertilizer composition contains a glass matrix containing at least three forming oxides, namely SiO2, P2O5 and B2O3, wherein weight ratio SiO2/P2O5 ranges from 1 to 5, and the weight ratio of SiO2/B2O3 ranges from 15 to 25, and at least one trace element selected from iron, zinc, copper, manganese, cobalt, molybdenum and mixtures thereof in the form of an oxide in an amount of from 10 to 40 wt.% with respect to the total weight of the glass matrix. Said fertilizer composition can also contain citric acid and/or at least one humic substance.
EFFECT: fertilizer composition is introduced into soil around crop root system in the form of powder or in the form of aggregates containing thickeners together with the above composition.
