FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of general machine building, namely to detachable joints of housings. Explosive bolt consists of a bolt rod, a bolt head, a spring and two rings concentric to each other. Inner ring is made up of two segments while outer ring is made up of three segments, wherein inner ring is fitted in outer groove on bolt rod while outer ring is fitted in inner groove on bolt head. Rod, head and spring materials are configured to preserve strength and operational properties when heated to melting temperature of the material of the rings. Rod and the head of the bolt with the rings installed on them enter each other with the minimum possible gaps, but without interference, and the inner and outer rings are made with possibility of fusion into a single shut-off element, wherein in molten form the material of the rings does not wet the material of the rod and the material of the head.

EFFECT: implementation of simple and reliable connection of two parts, closest in shape, dimensions and principle of action to common bolted connection, but capable of fast and controlled destruction by external command.
