FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to special equipment used for robotic assembly of large-sized truss structures. A mutually linked assembly system is proposed, consisting of a robot-manipulator, a special grip, and special assembly fittings providing connection of rod elements of trusses. System features are high accuracy and repeatability of a structure, high load-bearing capacity, adaptation of the structure to assembly by a robot.
EFFECT: technological limits for sizes of large-sized structures used on spacecrafts and in deployment of on-planet research means are eliminated.
