SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operation of lifting and transporting equipment. Method of rope suspension of single-span mobile ropeway includes application of erection rope fixed on external suspension of aircraft for pulling suspended rope, one end of which is preliminary connected to one of erection rope ends. An unmanned aerial vehicle is used to deliver the erection rope to the rope pulley of the opposite end support of the single-span ropeway. Erection rope are attached to unmanned aerial vehicle and forms two branches, end of one of them connected to suspended cable is located on temporarily braked, non-rotating drum of main cable winch with suspended cable wound on it, and second branch is wound on drum of mounting cable winch. This drum can rotate freely as the UAV moves away, which leads to unwinding of the erection rope within the length of the ropeway span. When the UAV reaches the cable pulley opposite end support, the towing device with the erection cable is automatically separated, the erection rope is stored in the rope pulley groove and wound on the mounting winch drum with pulling the suspended rope at the freely rotating drum of the main winch, its reeving into the rope pulley groove of the opposite end support. Further, the mounting winch is pulled to the drum and both ends are connected to form a closed annular circuit.

EFFECT: faster deployment (mounting and dismantling) of the mobile ropeway, expanded capabilities of using the mobile ropeway in hard-to-reach and (or) in advance unequipped areas with complex natural relief.
